Obituary
Larissa D. Jackson born December 10, 1968 to Mr. James M. Jackson and Mrs. Lillie B. Freeman-Williams.
Christian Journey She was baptized at the age of 8 under the pastoral leadership of the late Rev. Dr. LK Jones. She spent her life growing us in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Lawton, Oklahoma with being involved completely in GA Gairls Auxiliary, Sunday School, Starlight Band, Choir and Baptist Training Union and eventually becoming a treasurer for Sunday School. She later joined and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Willie Smith. She worked as a sales clerk for the church gift shop. She was committed as a member and until her health declined and was able to watch service online.
Larissa graduated for Broken Arrow High School in 1987, went into the US Army in 1988 for a short period of time moved back to Lawton to begin career of service working on Fort Sill, Oklahoma beginning with the MWR Snack bar at NCO swimming pool ending a Civil Service career job as a legal Administrative Specialist for a total of over 30 years between MWR, Mess Halls, Temporary Pay Sites, Civil Service, Private Contractors, Commissary, IHG Hotels, 14 years at AAFES and finally a GS-9 position for Department of Defense Veterans Affairs affectionately know as most rewarding position ever.
She is survived by her father James Jackson and his wife Marva Jackson, Sandusky, Ohio. Her children, daughter Lace D'Awn Jackson Partee Baytown, Texas. Three BEAUTIUFL grandchildren Lukas Antonio, Kaliyah Grace and Kylie Lane and son Chance John-Walter Mayo Lawton, OK. One brother Rodney Jackson, Tampa, Florida. Two sisters Kimberly Jackosn Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Andrea Jackson Sandusky, Ohio and one nephew Rodney Jackson Jr. Lexington, Kentucky. He Aunt Robbie West and Uncle Willie J. Freeman Jr. Lawton, Oklahoma, Uncles Roger Jackson and Robert Jackson and wife Beverly of Sandusky, Ohio. Stepfather Mr. John Williams Lawton, Oklahoma. Countless cousins, extended family friends, to include the Jackson family. The Freeman family, the Lee family, The Winfrey family.
She is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Mr. Willie James Freeman and Mrs. Junnie B. Freeman. He paternal Grandparents Mr. James Jackson Sr. and Annie Mae Winfrey-Jackson. He "loving mother Lillie B Freeman-Willams. Uncles Joe West and Jimmy Jones Sr. and cousins Freeman Jones and Deidre McKennie.
And definitely have to share my love for my Special friend Kyra Evette Eskridge words can't even describe the love. Thank you!
My love for my adoring Children and Beautiful Grandchildren will forever fill my heart!
