Larry Bard Obituary

Larry W. Bard, 88, of Manor, died Monday, March 9, 2026, at UPMC East. He was born March 5, 1938, in Rockhill Furnace, a son of the late Cecil and Charlotte Pyles Bard. Larry retired from Torrance State Hospital after 22 years as an assistant maintenance supervisor. In his free time, he enjoyed going to auctions and flea markets and had collected Westmoreland Glass and other antiques. He was also a member of the Westmoreland Glass Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Bard; and a sister, Jane Shope. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Verdine B. Termin Bard; his only child, Mark L. Bard of Manor; a step-grandson, Matt Davis of Jeannette; sister, Linda Doyle of York; sister-in-law, Eva Bard of Mill Creek; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing or services. Larry's family has entrusted his care to CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724)-837-0020.
