Larry Edwin Bauduin , age 83, died peacefully at home on Sunday July 27, 2025 while surrounded by his loved ones. He lost his courageous fight against leukemia caused by Agent Orange exposure while serving in the Vietnam War. Larry was born on June 20, 1942 in Avella, Pennsylvania. His family moved around a lot during his childhood eventually leading them to Ohio. He attended Perry High School where he graduated in 1961 as a star baseball player and track athlete. After graduation, Larry worked in coal mines in Cleveland and West Virginia. He then joined the U.S. Army where we served from 1963-1966 as an engineer in Vietnam. After his military service, Larry moved to Southern California where he eventually became the owner of Henry's Tavern. This is where he met his loving wife of 43 years, Doreen. He was a hard working man who continued to work in maintenance and management until he finally retired at 72. Larry was a proud member of the VFW and was even a post commander in Upland, CA. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion. Family camping trips to Lake Tahoe, Bishop for Mule days, and riding steam engine trains were some of his favorite things to do but, his biggest pride and joy were his 2 daughters Tanya and Heather. From teaching them to fish, coaching their sports teams, or yelling from the sidelines, he was always there. Most of his time was spent outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, camping, and planting all sorts of things especially, fruit trees. He made sure to plant a lot of fruit trees at every house he has owned. If you knew Larry, you would know that he was a strong willed stubborn man and if something wasn't how he wanted it, he made damn sure you knew about it. It was his way or the highway and he "didn't give a rats ass." Words cannot express how much he will be missed. He is proceeded in death by his father Joseph E. Bauduin, mother Isabel M. Miller, and brother Joseph H. Bauduin. Survived by his wife Doreen. Siblings: Gary, Keith, and Donna. Children: Randy Bauduin, Tanya (Matt) Murphy, and Heather (Matt) McClellan. Grandchildren: Nolan Murphy and Masyn Bauduin. Private burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve in Seville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Cleveland VA Fisher House at www.greaterclevelandfisherhouse.org
