Larry Beneux, Sr. Obituary
Larry Grant Beneux, aged 69, of Van Buren, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Larry, born on March 4, 1954, in Kansas, was the beloved son of June and Lydia Ann Beneux. In his youth, he honed his craft as a skilled bricklayer. Later in life, he shared countless cherished moments with his lifelong companion and best friend, Athea Adams, engaging in their shared passions of fishing, hunting, and swimming. Renowned for his role as a devoted father and grandfather, Larry also held a deep affection for dogs, serving as their caring guardian. Larry is survived by his four children: Jennifer and her husband Wesley Hicks of Van Buren, Arkansas; Amanda Beneux-Nevels and her husband Cody Nevels of Howardwick, Texas; Angela and her husband Anthony Johnson of Amarillo, Texas; and Justin Fenner of Van Buren, Arkansas. His legacy extends through his fifteen grandchildren: Logan, Lydia, Paige, Wyatt, Taylor, Sydnee, Braxton, Kylee, Jaycee, Malcolm, Brooklynn, TJ, Rylee, Bailee, and Hunter, as well as his seven great-grandchildren: Alina, Lily, Benji, Isabella, Louie, Karlie, and Bonnie. Larry is also survived by his brother, Bobby Beneux, of Van Buren, Arkansas, and leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Larry Grant Beneux Jr. "Bruno", as well as his brothers, Danny Beneux and David Morse, and his sister, Janice Beneux Bader. Details for services will be forthcoming. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the compassionate care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
