Larry Joseph Bogenschutz Jr.

Larry Joseph Bogenschutz Jr., 57, of Anderson, IN, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on February 4, 2026. Larry was born in Portland, IN, on December 31, 1968, a son of the late Larry Bogenschutz Sr. and Paula (Greenwalt) Walters. He proudly served in the United States Army, was a retired Semi Truck Driver and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Larry enjoyed playing bass and regular guitar, listening to music, camping, fishing, photography and above all else, spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Robyn (Myers) Bogenschutz who he happily married on November 13, 1987. Also left to cherish his memory are 2 sons: Derek J. Bogenschutz, Shane M. Bogenschutz, 2 daughters: Crystal A. Morgan, Misty M. Morgan, 1 brother: Chad Bogenschutz, stepfather: Danny Walters, 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Larry Sr. and Paula Walters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 10-11 AM, at MJS Mortuaries - Dunkirk Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM. Burial and Military Honors will be held in Marion National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Dunkirk Chapel.
