Larry Bowman, Sr. Summerville - Larry Kenneth Bowman, Sr., 75, husband of Georgia Bowman, of Summerville, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021.The relatives and friends of Larry Bowman are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 W. 1st. North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, June 21, 2021 at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Traditions Health Hospice. Larry was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on April 30, 1946. He was the son of Cletis Monroe Bowman and Ruby Bowman McDermott. He loved the Lord, his family, cars, bowling and was a lifetime member of American Bowling Congress. Larry is survived by his wife, Georgia Mae Bowman; sons, Larry Kenneth Bowman, Jr. (Amy), Dempsey Bowman (Sharolyn) and Timothy W. Bowman (Samantha); grandchildren, Grady Ross Bowman (Laura), Ashton Leigh Bowman, Tristyn Mae Bowman and Lucas Wade Bowman; brothers, Rick McDermott (Dorenda), John McDermott (Ann) and Pat McDermott (Kim); sister, Mary Robinson (Greg) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Kenneth Eugene McDermott; brother, Buster Cletis Bowman and his sister, Shirley Autry.
