Larry James Burell

Larry James Burell, of Castroville, Texas, passed away July 30, 2025 at the age of 65. He was born October 15, 1959 in Castroville, Texas, to Fritz Louis Burell and Mary Dora Hernandez Burell. Survivors include his wife, Rosalinda 'Rose' Thompson of Castroville; sons, Daniel Thompson of Uvalde and David Thompson of Austin; grandchildren, Rheannon Thompson, Liam Thompson, and Donnacha Thompson; mother, Dora Bless of Castroville; and brother, Fritz H. Burell. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Fritz L. Burell; and his sister, Rosalie Martinez. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
