I was invited to join an annual golf group some 35 years ago where I knew only two people and experienced your typical new guy nerves. Larry was so wonderfully welcoming and casual, and became one of my favorite parts of those Michigan trips. I always enjoyed when I was in his foursome and could spend time with him. In addition to the annual golf trip, I was fortunate to visited Wadsworth several times and hang out with Larry and his friends. I´d always had an extreme respect and warm place in heart for his pure and natural kindness. Our prayers and love go out to his mom and family.

Hello Choban Family and Friends Please accept my deepest sympathy. The last time I saw Larry was when he gave me a ride from Tim's cabin in 2022 to Akron Canton airport. Always a great friend even when years passed between our meetings. The first time I met Larry was in 1979 at Akron U on the second floor of the student union building where my neighbor whom I carpooled with from Wadsworth introduced me to the whole Wadsworth gang, Larry and his buds, sitting in a large group. We remained friends ever since. Many laughs and adventures. All are in my thoughts and prayers. There is no dought in my mind that Larry is smiling down on us all from Heaven. Dave "D.J." O'Connor Easthampton, Ma.

This past October, he came down to my lake house but all our other buddies and my brother Toby was there. He had his boat and he let Larry drive it.
