Larry Odell Clark, 80, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Glen Oaks Health Campus. He was born December 10, 1945, in New Castle to Clella and Verlie (Rigney) Clark.
Larry was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 371 and worked for the former Chrysler Corporation in New Castle. He was a machine operator and retired in 2001. In his spare time Larry was a backyard mechanic and loved going to yard sales to find a bargain. Larry loved his country and gospel and bluegrass music.
Larry is survived by children Ann Clark, David Clark, Janette Clark and Lori-May Clark all of New Castle, grandchildren Katy, Andrea and Olivia Clark, brothers Lonnie (Anna) Clark, Euil (Lynn) Clark, and Euing (Angel) Clark, sisters Retha (Mervin) Daniel and Ledda (Stanley) Duke as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, listed above and brothers Cletis Smith, Gerald Clark and Roy Clark.
A funeral to celebrate Larry's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad Street New Castle, IN 47362 with Pastor Jerry Ingalls of First Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at South Mound Cemetery – Westlawn addition, New Castle, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
