Larry "Clev" Clevenger Obituary Larry "Clev" Clevenger, of
Warsaw, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was 66. Larry will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He was born on November 8, 1958, in Wabash, Indiana to Mary Bette (Blackburn) Clevenger and Homer Marion Clevenger. On July 20, 1985, he married his best friend and love of his life, Jeanne Ann Pifer at the lake house on Beaver Dam Lake. Larry and Jeanne spent 44 wonderful years together raising their children and sharing laughter with their grandchildren.
Larry graduated from Wabash High School and years later made his home in Warsaw. He began working for R.R. Donnelley's in Warsaw as a grunt, working his way up to electrician. After 30 years at Donnelley's, he began work at Pioneer Seed in Plymouth as an electrician and PLC Programmer before retiring in 2022. He was always happy to help anyone and offered his YouTube learned skills to anyone who needed them. Larry enjoyed traveling and going on new adventures with his wife and kids as they grew up. A man of many trades, he loved trivia and history, was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, catching chameleons, golfing, and jet skiing. Clev enjoyed shooting pool with the guys, always trying trick shots, and Friday night cards with friends. More than anything he enjoyed being able to spend quality time with his family and grandkids.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jeanne Clevenger (
Warsaw, IN); son, Aaron (Kenda) Clevenger (Goshen, IN); and daughters, Elizabeth (Tony) Meads (
Warsaw, IN); and Kimberly (Chauncey) Smith (Westminster, SC). Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Mason and Rosie. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Michael Clevenger.
