Larry Mitchell Cook, JR, age 59 of Resaca, GA, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Larry was born on December 27, 1965, in Rome, GA, the son of the late Larry Mitchell Cook, Sr. and Martha Carol Davis Cook. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. Larry was an avid reader with a deep love for science and enjoyed collecting scientific memorabilia. Above all, he loved his children.
Larry is survived by: his son, Drake Cook; daughter, Ana Cook; and sister, Lorre (Rodney) Carr.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 1:30 PM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
A celebration of the life of Larry will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the family sharing remembrances.
