I met your father through Match.com and even though it did not work out between us, I found him to be one of the most interesting people I had ever met. He was a smart, hard woking individual who truly loved his daugher.

Sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I only knew him for a short time while I worked for Hillsborough County Public Schools, but he was a kind man with enormous talent and patience. He will be missed!

How sad to hear of Larry's passing. My dad and Larry were close friends from the early days of Lawson and I have many fond memories of my childhood being at Larry's house (I even have a permanent scar on my knee from when I fell down his stairs while playing with his dog!). As I grew older I didn't see him much but heard about his stories & antics through my dad. You could always count on Larry for a good joke, but he also had a warm & caring side. It's because of that dynamic personality that he'll be remembered & missed. My deepest sympathies & regards.

Dondlinger Family,
I was so saddened to get this news tonight. I worked closely with Larry for about two years at Lawson from 2001-2003. We traveled to several client projects together, did good work, and enjoyed dozens of meals and an occasional drink or two together. I enjoyed Larry's company, mentoring, and his sense of humor. I recall Larry being a very proud father and sharing kind advice when I had my first child in 2003.

Dondlinger Family,
My deepest sympathies. I had been corresponding & talking with Larry over the last several months. We had yet to meet face to face, but had wonderful emails & phone conversations. I always got a kick out of his updates on NWA flights and food. My job responsibilites are catering for NWA.
There is not much else to say but the memories you have of his smile, laugh & dry humor will help ease the pain over the coming months.
Best of luck to Betsy & her husband on their upcoming adventure.
In Peace

To the Larry Dondlinger family,
Larry was my coach at Lawson. He was easy to talk to and gave good sound advice. He was always the first in line to help out. When the consultants no longer had cubes in the St. Paul office, he packed up my office cube and shipped the boxes to my home in MT for me.
I will miss him, his freindship, and his humor.

To Larry’s family:
We worked with Larry at Lawson and appreciated his commitment to his work and his clients, his willingness to learn, and his humor. We are very sorry to hear of his sudden death.
There is little we can do in the face of this tragedy but we hope you will accept our sympathy.

Dear Melissa and Family,
Please accept my sympathies. There is so much to say yet I am at a loss for words. The world will be a little sadder and more lonely without Larry's sense of humor. He was loved for his generosity, his wit, and willingness to listen. Larry was a proud father. He spoke of his family often and I feel I know Melissa though we've never met. My prayers are with you.

Dear Melissa and the entire Dondlinger Family,
As I write my memories to you regarding your father, son and brother, my eyes swell with tears as I have lost a very dear friend and co-worker.
I have been fortunate to have worked with Larry for the past year at Hillsborough County public schools. We often spent our spare time in joking and sharing our parts of our lives with each other these past 12 month. One of my fondest memories was to hear what he was planting in his garden or to hear about his skiing week end with his family. Know that he loved each and everyone of you in his own special way.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Melissa, his mother and of course his extended family. Know that he was loved and admired by all.
Please feel free to call or contact me.

To Larry's family and friends,
I was honored to be able to work with Larry, who was so generous with his time and knowledge. He joined our Lawson Certification team as soon as the invitation was announced. He shared our passions for furthering knowledge and skill, all in the spirit of friendliness and integrity. He would often stop by with a great smile on his face, just to say, "Hi." We will miss him.

Dear Melissa and the Dondlinger family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very sad time. We worked with Larry at AgriBank and bowled with him at league and in tournaments. He was a very talented man, in sports, in gardening, and at work. It was obvious that he was a proud father and I'm sure you all knew his generosity as we did. He was always willing to share his knowledge at work, to share bowling advice (which never helped me much!), and to share the fruits of his gardening. My cats especially liked it when he would give us home grown cat nip for them to enjoy. Our sympathy to the family - he will be missed.

I worked with Debbie a long, long time ago and met Larry several times back then. I didn't know him well but in reading all the things people have said about him here, I remember him being just as they say....a fun guy to be around. I'm sorry to hear about his passing.

Dear Dondlinger Family,
Prayers and thoughts go out to the family of a special man to all. Larry became a friend, as well as a great consultant for us at the School District of Hillsborough County. He was full of knowledge, and yet so humorous. He loved talking about his cross-country skiing and looked forward to going home each weekend during this time to enjoy his sport. He truly will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the Family and Friends of Larry Donlinger. I too was shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden passing. Hard to believe. I worked with Larry at Lawson on a few projects and back in the Bloomington office. So many people and coworkers thought of Larry so highly, as a friend not just someone who works for the same company. That says a lot about the kind of man he was. He will be greatly missed.

Melissa & Family, I worked with Larry at Agribank. I was his supervisor for many years and he had a great work ethic and humor. He was always ready to volunteer, such as paint-a-thon projects or work assignments. His sense of humor was unique. One example: I was scheduled to be out of the office for a week and I asked him and Joe Kolstad to alternate every other day in running the department. Larry requested that he take the first day to supervise the department. I asked him why. Larry responded so I can eliminate Joe's position. He was always thinking.
He will be in my prayers.

I worked with Larry for years at Lawson Software. We spend many a week flying back and forth to San Francisco. He was my gardening mentor. In fact on Monday he sent me a note reminding me that it was six weeks to planting time. My deepest sympathy to you. He was a joy, a quiet simple man with a sincere love of life. Best of all he always made me smile. My God's peace and blessings be with you in the days ahead.

I first met Larry when he came to work for Farm Credit (AgriBank). I worked with him and for him but most important, we were friends.
I remember when Melissa was born and I am still amazed at how much hair she had...such a beautiful baby. Larry was a very proud Dad.
Our special moments were at the bowling alley. We bowled together in the bank league for many years and in many tournaments. In addition to being a really good 'competitive' bowler, his sense of humor kept us all smiling. He will be dearly missed.

While God holds you safe in the palm of His hand, He will send angels to help you stand, I will remember your family in my prayers. Larry was my friend and we often talked about the places he'd visited and places I would like to go. He suggested Beale Street and Five Guys Famous Burger & Fries! Larry was right about Five Guys and I plan to visit Beale Street in 2009. He will truly be missed.
