Larry J. Faschingbauer, age 75, passed away on October 24, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Osseo.
Larry was born on April 2, 1948, in Chippewa Falls, WI to Lester and Helen (Rihn) Faschingbauer. He proudly served his country with the US Navy. Larry worked as a concrete finisher before becoming disabled. He was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed taking his children to many events. Later in life, Larry encouraged and checked in with his grandchildren through their various sports. He took great pride in training his best behaved dogs who were always by his side. Larry had a great sense of adventure and loved a warm sunny day. He will be remembered for his intellect and ingenuity. He spent many hours tinkering in his shed and maintaining his yard.
Larry is survived by his children: Candy (Sean) Sherry of Chippewa Falls and Michelle (David) Stiehl of Bloomer; grandchildren: Kayla (Ronnie) Rihn, Laken Gunderson, Tegan, Rowan and Declan Stiehl; great grandchildren: Harper, Havyn and Hank; sister: Judith Fredericks of Racine; and his K9 companion: Bentley.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lester and Helen Faschingbauer; and is now resting in peace with his son: Tyson Faschingbauer.
His family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Osseo. Private family services will be held. Interment will be at the Bloomer Cemetery. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family with arrangements.
