Larry Flannagan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia on Nov. 27, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Gene Flannagan, who left this world on November 26th at the age of 68.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 29, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Seth Hood officiating. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia.
Larry was a man whose greatest legacy was his family and his "servant's heart."
Born on April 28, 1957, Larry dedicated his life to those he loved. He was the devoted husband of Teresa Flannagan for 46 wonderful years, having married his high school sweetheart. Their lifelong bond was a beautiful example of commitment and love.
Larry's two girls were the light of his life and the source of his greatest pride: Katie Dalrymple and Kristin Flannagan. He often said his biggest accomplishment was his family, a testament to the values he instilled in them. His pride and joy were multiplied by his cherished grandchildren: Nora, Oliver, and Theodore Dalrymple.
Larry lived a life characterized by kindness, humility, and service to others, leaving behind a legacy of being everyone's helper.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Calvin Eugene Flannagan and Laura Maude Brannon Flannagan, and his sister, Doris Flannagan.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa, his daughters, Katie (Michael) Dalrymple and Kristin Flannagan (Zack Roberson), and his three grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Billy Flannagan (Tona), Diane Flannagan, Barbara Campbell (Curtis), Donna Bailey (Ken), Ruby Robbins (Lynn), Ken Flannagan (Donna), and Dwight Flannagan, along with his brothers and sisters -in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Larry's presence and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit of devotion and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family.
Pallbearers: Nephews: Jason Flannagan, Jamie Flannagan, Eric McDonald, Matthew Raybon Maxwell Raybon, Clint Kirchner. Friend: James Garner Honorary Pallbearers: Grandsons, Oliver and Theodore Dalrymple.
