Larry Allen Force, 52, of Macon, IL passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022.
A service to honor and celebrate Larry's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. The family will receive friends and family for a time of visitation from 11:00-1:00 on Wednesday. Casual attire is requested by the family. Larry will be laid to rest in Brunswick Cemetery.
Larry was born on February 26, 1970 in Decatur, IL, the son of Vincent I. Force, Sr. and Mary L. (Smith) Force. He married Angie McDade on January 10, 1998. Larry worked at Fuyao Glass Company for 23 years. He enjoyed racing bomber and sportman series, competing in demolition derbies and helping others work on their stock cars. He also enjoyed hunting, sports and he was a picker. Larry was a jack of all trades that could work on anything. Larry was always there to help someone in need. His greatest joy came from spending time with his son Brock and his family.
Larry is survived by his parents: Vincent I. Force, Sr. and Mary L. Force of Tower Hill, IL; children: Brock A. Force of Decatur, IL, Hope (Doug) Carlson of Cerro Gordo, IL and Nicole (Trent) Swigert of Buford, GA; brothers: Vincent (Junetta) Force Jr. of Argenta, IL and Donnie (Alicia) Force of Cisco, IL; sister: Angel (Ivan) Robertson of Westervelt, IL; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
