Larry Forshee Obituary
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Larry was born on April 25, 1970 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Edgar “Eddie” Forshee and Linda Sue (Brinkley) Lainesse (Denis) of Franklin, KY, who survives. He is also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marie “Ree” Brinkley and paternal grandparents, Lawrence Forshee and Willie Forshee.
In addition to being survived by his mother and step-father, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy Forshee; a sister, Linda Brewster (Tim) of Franklin, KY; an uncle, Jerry Forshee (Tracy) of Franklin, KY; a special aunt, Aunt Cat; 3 nephews, Michael Brewster, Will Jones and Michael Polston; 2 nieces, Ashley Price and Heather Price; 3 great-nephews, Jett Jones, Otto Jones and Artie Jones.
Larry was a 1988 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. He was an Energy Service Technician for Warren Rural Electric. He loved his job and helping other people. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Rosie Foundation, P.O. Box 301, Franklin, KY 42135-0301 . Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
