Larry Foster

Larry Floyd Foster, 81, of West Decatur, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 19, 2026. Born on November 8, 1944, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, Larry was a 1962 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School. He spent his life deeply connected to the community he called home and will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.

Larry found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for gardening and tractors and was a devoted fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Alabama Crimson Tide. These interests brought him happiness and created cherished memories for his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherri Hibsman; grandsons, Dalton Bowers and TJ Hibsman; sisters, Audrey Harrier and Karen Guenot (husband Rodney); and brother, Rodney Foster (wife Carol). Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Rayford and Thelma Foster; brothers, Gerald and Keith Foster; sisters, Darla Cogan and Suzanne Foster; grandson, Dylan Shane Bowers; and his beloved dog, Dodger.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on April 11, 2026, at Ohio United Methodist Church, located at 3228 Morgan Run Road in West Decatur. Attendees are encouraged to wear cowboy boots and hats in honor of Larry's signature style.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Larry's memory. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
