Larry Guy Fowler, of Ball Ground, Georgia, went to be with Jesus September 12, 2025 after a yearlong battle with cancer. Larry was born March 11, 1954 and was raised in Roswell, GA by Willie B. Hatcher, Henry Hatcher, and Guy Fowler. He graduated from Roswell High School in 1972 and married his sweetheart Roxie Ann Abernathy on July 12, 1974. Larry worked in the HVAC industry for 52 years and held an unrestricted state license. He founded Serv-A-Tech Heating and Air, which he owned and operated for 31 years before retiring and passing the torch to his grandson, Alex Fowler.

Larry loved the Lord and his family. He enjoyed morning hunts, where he would read his bible and talk with God. Larry also never missed an opportunity to go to the beach, fish, or eat ice-cream. Larry was known as a gentle giant. While his stature towered above others, his gentle spirit radiated kindness and he always found a way to make everyone feel like they were special. Larry never missed an opportunity to be mischievous and was often the biggest kid despite his adulthood. He spent many seasons coaching baseball and mentoring the youth at Roswell 2nd Baptist. He used his business to continue mentoring countless men throughout his career.

Larry was proceeded in death by Henry (Wille B.) Hatcher, and Guy (Francis) Fowler. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Roxie Fowler. His son, Aaron Fowler (Lori), and his daughter Allison Talley. His grand children Hadley Jackson (Chris), Alex Fowler (Mckenna), Amelia Fowler, Bennett Fowler, Connor Mitchell, Rylan Talley, and Emery Talley. His great grandchildren Solomon Jackson and Lawson Guy Fowler. His brother Randy Fowler, step-sister Janice (Leon) Butterworth, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 15 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home and again from 11:00 am-1:00 pm September 16. The service will begin at 1:00 pm at Lakeside Funeral Home and internment will be at 3:00 pm at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA.

Larry left a legacy that won't soon be forgotten. As Larry always said, "He was a fine figure of a man and that's all you need to know."
