Larry Grantham

Being a Jets season ticket holder at Giants Stadium in the the Meadowlands. I took my 6 year old son Ryan to the games and we had the opportunity to meet Larry Grantham in the parking lot. Larry pulled my little guy out of the crowd and signed his Jet's cap and showed him his Superbowl Ring. It was a moment that we'll never forget. So Sorry for Your Loss, he was a Great Person.

I just found out about Larry’s passing. I had the pleasure of playing with him inFlorida. He was a great guy and leader. God Bless and RIP.

I just found out of Larry's passing he was a fantastic man I just learned of his passing he and I work together when I was at Apple computer and I got to meet him personally in Chicago back in the 90s he presented me with a picture of every living jet that was in the 1960s and even got weeb ewbank to sign it when he was in the hospital not doing well thank you Larry rest in peace my friend you will be missed

Larry the best defensive leader we ever had you taught me how to play with class

To family and friends may you find comfort in God's word the Bible at Isaiah 61:1,2 it says "God will bind up the brokenhearted and comfort all those who mourn."

Mr. Grantham was there from the beginning of the AFL, with The Titans (later known as The Jets), and he played with distinction into the post-merger era. His coach on the field smarts, tenacity, and toughness, made up for his height and weight disadvantage at the Linebacking position.

AFL and Titans/Jets icon, a well-respected teammate and opponent, and well-deserved member of his team's Ring of Honor.
