Larry E. Grove

Larry Grove, age 65 of Alliance, died at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 7, 2007 at the Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, Florida. Larry was born July 20, 1941 in Alliance, Ohio to Donald Grove and Mae (Best) Vickers and was a lifelong resident. A graduate of Alliance High School, Larry was the former co-owner of Alliance Equipment Company and Waco Boom Company until his retirement. A U. S. Navy veteran, Larry served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Alliance VFW Post 1036, BPOE #467, and William Penn Club. Larry was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was a loving grandfather, father and husband. Survivors include his mother, Mae Vickers of Alliance; his father, Donald (Pauline) Grove of Uniontown, Ohio; his wife, Lynn (Crable) Grove, whom he married Sept. 24, 1999; his son, Larry (Shelli) Grove of Alliance; and two grandchildren, Hayden and Brooklyn Grove. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
