Mr. Larry John Hayes, age 53, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his residence in Franklin, KY.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Larry was born on September 13, 1972 in Chicago, IL. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Mack Hayes.
He is survived by his 6 children, Zack Scott (Angela) of Scottsville, KY, Jordan Hayes of Gallatin, TN, Arrissica Hayes, Haidyn Hayes, Levi Hayes and Avarie Hayes all of Bowling Green, KY; 7 grandchildren, Jaclynn, Zach, Xander, Axel, Jamison, Zayn, Mya; mother, Linda Hayes (Jim Gebbia) of Planefield, IL; a brother, Johnny Hayes of Reno, NV; step-brother, Tony Gebbia; 2 aunts, Diane Pietroski (MarK); Pat Hayes.
Larry was a member of the Franklin-Simpson Benevolent Lodge. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and going to concerts.
