Larry Gale Heisey

Larry Gale Heisey, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his residence.

Larry was born the son of Roy and Juanita Ruth (Bullis) Heisey on April 12, 1940, in Kansas. He was a graduate of Springhill High School, Springhill, Kansas. Larry was united in marriage to Fredrica "Freddie" Alice Parrett on March 30, 1963, in Denver, Colorado. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2023.

Larry was co-owner of the Missouri Communications shop in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a HAM radio enthusiast. He was also very active in the American Legion. Larry enjoyed going camping as well.

Survivors include one son, Bryce Heisey and wife, Pamela of Smithville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Paige Heisey and Landon Heisey of Smithville, Missouri; and one brother-in-law, Bruce Parrett and wife, Victoria of Taos, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Freddie.

A cremation was held. A private family inurnment will be held at the Bucyrus Cemetery, Bucyrus, Kansas, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vern R.
