Surviving are his daughter, Angel Helser, West Jefferson, Ohio; son, Curtis (Wolf) Helser, Tampa, Florida; sisters, Donna Gorton, West Port, Washington; Nancy McConnell, Mt. Perry, brothers, Steven Helser, Heath, Gerald "Jerry" Helser, Mt. Perry, Mike Helser, Thornville, Gary Hill, Hebron, granddaughter, Aretta "Katie" Helser, West Jefferson, grandson, Tony Ray Helser, Carmel, Indiana; uncle, Eugene Helser, Thornville, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary (Myers) Helser, parents, stepfather, Edward L. Hill, stepmother, Dorothy Jean (Stoltz) Helser, sisters Debora Helser and Cathy (Helser) Wofter, and brothers, Scott Edward Hill and James Frederick Helser, step-sister Donna (Mohler) Hill and step-brother Tony Hill.
His service will be held on Monday, July 24th, 11:00 am, at Hoskinson Funeral Home, 56 South Main Street, Thornville, burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery, (Ziontown) Thornville. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
