Mr. Larry Don Jones, 80, of Dr. George Ward Rd. Elberton, GA passed away Wednesday October 22, 2025 at St. Mary's Hosptial.
Mr. Jones was born January 3, 1945 in Elberton, GA to Earnest Tillman Jones and Elizabeth Payton Jones. He was a member of Vans Creek Baptist Church and was a farmer and stone cutter.
He is survived by a step-son: grandchild; a sister and many nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Nancy Elizabeth Johnson Jones; and siblings: Juanita Attaway, Alton "Sonny" Jones, Conrad Jones, Pat Jones, Allen Jones and Ben Jones.
Funeral services to celebrate Larry's life will be held 2PM, Sunday, October 26 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12PM to 1:45PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
Berry Funeral Home and Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Mr. Larry Don Jones.
