Larry Wayne Kea, 69, of Campbell, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Campbell, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Larry was born on September 29, 1956, in Greenville, Texas, to Harold Bennie Kea and Ruth LaVerne Banks. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. After returning home, he dedicated 32 years to the Greenville Fire Department, retiring with honor as an Engineer.

Larry lived life with a spirit of adventure and a love for the open road. He enjoyed racing his drag car as a member of Beat the Heat, sharing his passion for speed and community outreach. He also loved riding his Harley and Indian motorcycles, finding joy and freedom in every mile.

He is survived by his daughter, Misti Hayes and husband Danny; his son, Shane Kea and wife Stephanie; and four grandchildren: Ty Hoffmann and wife Avery, Landyn Kea, Faith Batson, and Presley Batson. He was also blessed with one great-granddaughter, Chesney Hoffmann. Larry is survived by his mother, Ruth Banks; brothers Marvin Kea and Jerry Kea (Donna); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Kea, and his sister, Brenda Robinson.

Larry will be remembered for his dedication, his loyalty, his love for family.
