Larry Knox, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, just thirteen days shy of his seventy-third birthday. An accomplished mechanic and carpenter, Larry took pride in his ability to masterfully fix and create, earning him a reputation as a steadfast and reliable figure in his community. He was not just a worker; he was an artist in his craft, self-taught and passionate about the things he created and repaired.
Outside of his professional life, Larry was a man of varied interests. He embraced the joys of life with enthusiasm—whether it was sharing laughter over a game of pool, relishing the quiet serenity of fishing under the soft glow of sunset, or delighting in the pleasures of cooking and eating delicious meals. These moments reflected his zest for life and his inclination to savor even the simplest of things.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Berlinda, who stood by his side through all of life's ups and downs. He was a proud father to four children: Akiva Lewis(Dewann), Larry Stanford(Caryn), Lakisha Stanford Robinson(Kelvin), and Undrae Knox(Angela). The legacy of love continues through his eleven cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. His close-knit family also included eleven sisters and two brothers, each contributing to the richness of his life and the tapestry of memories they all shared.
