Larry R. Lees

Larry R. Lees, 75, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, in the Westmoreland Hospital. He was born April 14, 1950, in Butler, a son of the late Dean S. and Olive Louise Williams Lees. Larry was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church. While working for Gibson and Thomas Engineering in Latrobe, he was involved with bridge design. Larry and his wife enjoyed traveling throughout their life together, especially the cruises to Alaska and Mexico. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest D. Lees, on Sept. 10, 2025; and his brother-in-law, Russell Province. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Ruth Anne Province Lees; two children, Matthew Lees (Nicole) of CT and Rose Crivella (Fr. Brian) of OH; five grandchildren, Sara, Katherine, Irene, Helen, and Lina "Ethan"; sister-in-law, Mary Province of Greensburg; and two nieces, Rachel Province and Nichole Galla (Nicholas). Relatives and friends of Larry will be received from 9:15 a.m. until the time of his funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, with Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini in Our Lady of Grace Church, 1011 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. Mary would like to extend a special thank you to her cousins, Barbara Christner, James Schuck, and Marianne Merlino (Pat); and niece, Rachel Province, for their loving help and kindness over the past several months.
