Larry Lezon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Annville on May 6, 2025.
Larry Alfredo Lezon, 77, of Annville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. He was born on August 2, 1947 to Zella Mae and Alfredo Lezon.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Zella Mae Tallant, father, Alfredo Lezon, and sister Sandra Clark.
Larry is survived by his brother Paul, whom he adored and thought the world of, and Paul's wife Mary Lou, along with their daughters, Wendy and Lacey. He is also survived by his nieces, Dawn and Cindy, daughters of his late sister. Larry was the proud father to his three children: Michele and son-in-law Jason, Paul and daughter-in-law Megan, and Kevin and daughter-in-law Lauren. He was a loving grandfather to twelve grandchildren: Kiley, Isaac, Nadia, Aidan, Tom, Joe, Anthony, Phayden, Anna, Elliot, Willow, and Evelyn.
He was the owner-operator of Lezon Motor Freight Express, a business he built and took great pride in. He loved driving his truck and passed along road courtesy to everyone he was in a vehicle with.
He had a passion for aviation, taking flying lessons and really enjoyed reading airplane magazines.
Larry was known for his kind, friendly, laid-back and easygoing nature. He gave generously without ever expecting anything in exchange and made friends with just about anyone.
He was a simple man who loved food and going out to restaurants. He never turned down a good biscuit or cherry pie. In recent years, he was never seen without a Dum Dum lollipop, a small sweet that became a signature of his. He was known to stop by with donuts, always eager to share a treat with grandkids.
He loved watching baseball, whether it was his grandkids playing or watching the Phillies on TV. He also enjoyed camping for its laid-back atmosphere, good food, and time with friends and family.
Playing cards was a lifelong interest, from playing with his dad as a teenager, to games with his family, and recently, playfully hustling his grandkids in poker. He was also a longtime member of the Cornwall Quentin Quoit Club, where he enjoyed playing quoits with friends.
Larry's laid-back spirit was matched by his caring heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and lovingly remembered for the warmth and generosity he shared throughout his life. His favorite response to anything being, "That's right!"
