Larry Lyons Obituary
Larry was proud of growing up in the Englewood neighborhood. He retired as a long-haul truck driver, taking limestone all over the country, accumulating over 4 million miles.
Larry is survived by his children, Gary (Marla) Lyons of Heltonville, Chris (Amanda) Lyons of Williams, and Donna (Ken) Ikerd of Bedford; his grandchildren, Brandi Clark, Eric (Jolene) Lyons, Sean (Brittany) Lyons, Stephanie (Tony) Brock, Kevin (Rachel) Ikerd, and Kaci (Nolan) King; his great grandchildren, Velvet (Tyler) Harding, Kayn Clark, Dylan Lyons, Brooke Lyons, Gracie Brock, Maddie Brock, Maggie Lyons, Cooper King, and Layla; his step grandchildren, Jacob Blackburn and Caleb Blackburn; his step great-grandchildren, Charolette Blackburn and Emma Blackburn; and his sister, Zona Mills.
Preceding him in death are his wife, Patty Lyons; parents, Hovey and Mildred Lyons; and his brothers, Fred Lyons, Carl Lyons, and David Lyons.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th Street, Bedford, Indiana. Burial will follow at Dive Cemetery in Bedford, Indiana. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
