Larry F. Marshall, 69, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at his home.

Larry was born November 6, 1956 in Butte, Montana.

Larry worked for IBM for many years thus earning the nickname of Macgyver because he could fix anything.

For many years, Larry resided in Dryden where he raised horses, "put up" with goats and walked in the woods with his beloved dogs. Upon retirement, Hubbard Lake became home where Larry could partake in his passion for fishing. His blue fishing boat could be spotted across the lake at night because he decorated it with blue twinkle lights. He also loved being Captain Larry, taking family and friends on rides on his boat the Red Bobber. Larry enjoyed shooting sporting clays in Alpena and walking with his dog and wife along the beaches of Lake Huron. Larry would often work for "cookies" by helping neighbors that live on his street. He was loved by many and will be truly missed .

Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025 from 10:30 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Ossineke.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the St. Catherine chapter of the St. Vincent Depaul Food Pantry, Hospice of Michigan, or the Alcona Humane Society. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for the wonderful care and comfort they provided to Larry.
