Larry Wayne Milstid, born on September 20, 1954, in Atmore, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 69. He was a beloved husband, stepfather, brother, grandfather, and uncle who left a lasting impact on everyone he met with his kindness and humor.

Larry was a dedicated professional, spending 14 years at NADEP NAS Pensacola as an Aircraft Instrument Mechanic. His career also included positions at Terry's Well Service, the City of Pensacola, and M & W Electric Motors in Pensacola, where he worked as an electric motor mechanic until his retirement.

He graduated from Escambia County High School in Atmore, AL, in 1973, laying the foundation for his future successes. Beyond his professional life, Larry was passionate about the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and guns, activities that brought him joy and relaxation.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; stepchildren, April Riddick and spouse Gray, Neil Saxon and spouse Milagros; brother, Ronnie Milstead and spouse Joey; four granddaughters, Sarah, Sydney, Savannah, and Sofia; nephew, Heath Milstead and his children, Hannah, Ryan, Drew, and Claire; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Milstid, and mother, Mary Presley Milstid.

A memorial service will be held at Lewis Funeral Home, 6405 Hwy 90, Milton, FL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by the service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 PM at the Milstead Family Cemetery in Lottie, AL, at 60634 Milstead Rd, Atmore, AL.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel for Towers, honoring Larry's compassionate spirit and his lifelong dedication to helping others.
