Larry Morey, 68, of Albany died, Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the Willson Hospice House.
A life long resident of Albany, Larry worked with Oxford Construction for over twenty years as a truck driver. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, cutting his grass and had a knack for fussing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ocie and Rita (Waters) Morey, and his sister Glynda Connell.
He is survived by his wife, Stacey McGee Morey, sons, Jeremy Morey (Angie), Lane Morey, granddaughter Madden Morey and his brother Brad Morey.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707.
A Celebration of Life service honoring Larry J. Morey will be held On February 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Beacon Baptist Church (5818 Newton Road ) in Albany, Ga 31721. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and celebrate a life marked by faith, love and kindness.
