Larry Pacurai Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. on Jan. 6, 2026.
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Larry Allen Pacurai, who departed this world on December 25, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on May 6, 1957, Larry's journey through life was marked by hard work, laughter, and a deep love for family and friends.

Larry was a man of integrity and dedication, owning and operating a successful amusement vending company. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by his zest for life and adventure. Larry found solace and joy in the great outdoors, spending cherished moments snowmobiling and boating around the Great Lakes. He and his late partner, Lori Miller, shared many long trips, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Known for his infectious sense of humor and sociable nature, Larry was a beacon of honesty and hard work. He was actively involved in several community groups, including The Losers Club, American Legion Taylor Post 200, Snow Packers Club in St. Helen, and the Lincoln Park Moose Lodge. Through these affiliations, he forged lasting friendships and made a positive impact on those around him.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved partner Lori Miller; ex-wife and mother to his children, Sandra Pacurai; and his "honorary family" members Jerry Dial, Billy Hawver, Max Heesch, as well as the "Good Son" and the "Low Son." He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his son Larry Pacurai, daughter Stephanie Pacurai, and "Bad Son" Mike Goulet. He was a proud grandfather to Marshall Robert Pacurai, and to his fur grandkids Walter and Cuervo. Larry is also survived by his brother Steve (Gail) Pacurai, nieces Angela and Sarah Pacurai, and great nephew Justin Montoya.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Larry's life during visitation on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. A service honoring his memory will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Larry Allen Pacurai's life was a testament to the power of kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.
