It is with profound sadness we share the passing of our beloved father Larry James Pearce (1954-2025) passed away peacefully on Saturday May 10, 2025 surrounded by his family at Hospice for Hope in Scotch Plains, NJ after a five-year brave battle with dedifferentiated Liposarcoma.
Larry is survived by his ex-wife of 26 years Donna Parella and their children Corilee Pearce (Princess) of Ocean View, DE and Beau Pearce of Syracuse, NY. And Larry's youngest son Al Pearce of Far Hills, NJ. Grandson Giovanni Parella-Pearce of Stewartsville, NJ. Sisters: Samantha Pearce of Roscommon, MI and Pamela Krupa of Irasburg, VT. Brothers: Alan Pearce of Christmas, Florida and Warren Pearce of Stirling, NJ. Nieces and nephews.
Larry was born on October 17, 1954 in Plainfield, NJ. Grew up in Warren, NJ graduating from WHRHS. Went on to marry and become the owner-operator of Parella Paving of Meyersville, NJ. Larry was well known for his craft of installing driveways and a skilled excavator. Larry enjoyed life on the Parella farm in the Great Swamps where he loved to garden, cook, Can his vegetables and restore automobiles. Larry loved the outdoors especially fishing out on the Sandy Hook Bay and the quiet waters of Round Valley another way he spent time with his 3 beautiful children who were always his priority. Family was everything to Larry and during his journey he never missed the opportunity to tell his children how much he loved them. Larry fought bravely through many painful days with Faith, Love of Family and his great sense of humor.
At Larry's request we will be holding a celebration of life in July. By invitation only.
