Funeral Services for Larry Charles Peed, age 82, of Page will be 10:00 am Monday, October 20, 2025 at Page United Methodist Church in Page. Burial will follow in the Page Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the Page American Legion Post #315. Pastor Janene Reynolds will officiate. Visitation will be 3-5 pm Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the church in Page with a Prayer Service at 5:00 pm. Larry loved his blue jeans, the Huskers, the St. Louis Cardinals, and his family. To honor him and his wishes, we invite you to honor him by coming comfortably-blue jeans, Huskers or St. Louis Cardinals shirts, or something red if you don't have one of those as that's exactly how'd he would want it. Larry passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Accura Healthcare in O'Neill. Memorials may be directed to Page United Methodist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.
In Loving Memory of Larry Charles Peed born on June 20, 1943, to Charles and Grace (Teadtke) Peed. The youngest of eight children and the only boy, Larry grew up in Niobrara, NE with seven older sisters. From an early age, he learned the value of hard work and resilience - qualities that would define him throughout his life.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army before beginning a lifelong career as a maintainer operator. He was known as one of the best in his field, sought out by many companies for his skill, steady hand, and dedication. Hardworking and dependable, Larry often spent time away from home on the roads to provide for his family - yet his heart was always with them.
On June 24, 1967, Larry married, Sandra Lynn Rihanek. Together, they built a beautiful family and made many memories in their 58 years of marriage. Family meant everything to Larry. He cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he often expressed how proud he was of his children and grandchildren. He lived for his family's joy and accomplishments, leaving behind a legacy of love and pride.
Larry's hardworking hands and loving heart touched the lives of many. Though he will be dearly missed, the love he gave and the pride he carried for his family will live on through them. Larry will also be remembered for his warm spirit and familiar sayings, often reminding those around him with a smile: "It's alright, That's okay".
He leaves behind his wife, Sandra; his son, Larry (Marjie) Peed and their children Kassie (Jesse) Smidt, Tyson (Tamber), Tiffany (Wayne) Snyder, Thomas (Mollie), Tessa (Eden), his son, Jeffrey (Ruth) Peed, his son, Daniel (Makala) Peed and their children Drake, Grace & Brantley, and his daughter, Sara (Mike) Hammerlun and their children Jared (Briana), Maddox & Samiya; and great-grandsons Greyson & Dex Peed, and great-granddaughter Marie Snyder.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Grace Peed, in-laws Glen and Velma Rihanek, his seven sisters, as well as several brothers-in-law, nephews, and many other loved ones who went before him.
