Larry Peevy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Edmonds Funeral Home - Jonesboro on Mar. 1, 2025.
Larry Peevy, age 80 of Jonesboro, was called home on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Larry was born in Jonesboro, Louisiana on Tuesday, March 28, 1944. Larry was a character. He was fun, loving and very outgoing. He enjoyed being outdoors when he had the time. He enjoyed hunting and running dogs and he liked watching his dogs work. Larry found joy in photography. He liked to take photos and to alter them on Photoshop and to lovingly play jokes on unsuspecting friends and family with his creations. Larry loved his family and would do anything to make them smile. He will be missed.
Those left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda (Davis) Peevy; daughter, Amy Hay and Wayne; son, Larry Peevy, Jr. and Deanie; grandchildren, Parker Hay and Bailey, Chandler Hay, Mary Catherine Hay, Grady Peevy; sister, Freida Parker and Mervin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Alfred and Alice Roline (Savage) Peevy; sister, Patricia Ann Hill; brother in law, Charlie Hill.
Friends may visit on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Siloam Springs Community Church from 1:00 PM until time of service. Funeral services are set to begin at 2:00 PM with Bro. Wayne Morrow and Bro. Geary Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Parker Hay, Chandler Hay, Grady Peevy, Frank Richard, Jr., Travis Caskey, and Garrison Hill.
