Larry Pegues

Larry Pegues was born December 28, 1964, in Davenport, Iowa to William Clinton and Exie Mae Brown.
Larry attended school in the Davenport Community School District, graduating in 1984 from Davenport Central High School.
Larry was affectionately called Moose by all who knew him.
Moose worked as a line production technician for over 30 years at Kraft Heinz.
He was a boxer at Pena's Davenport Boxing Club throughout his youth, and as a young adult. He participated in both the Silver and Golden Gloves tournaments.
He was known throughout the community as the "Wheelie King," for his unique ability to ride wheelies for miles on his black stingray bike. He even mastered the ability to ride wheelies using only one hand and without a front tire.
He was very family oriented; he had a deep love for his family and would be seen cheering loudly for his nephews during their sporting events or spending time with his daughter Odessa and his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memories include his three children, Odessa Wold, Danielle Gould and Michael Gould; grandchildren, Maya, Nevaeh, Azrael, and Chosen; a sister Amy Coleman; brothers Tom Pegues, Ervin Pegues, Prentiss Pegues, Dennis Hood special nephews Princeton and Prentiss Hood; and a special friend Araceli Torres.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents. and brother Terune Hood.
