O absolutely loved Larry ¬we went either for coffee or Abos forfpizza slices. And had sometimes a most awesome sense of humor- and goofy jokes were a speciality! I still feel the loss of my dear friend! God bless and guide you Larry

My favorite memory of Larry was how he described what it was like on the basketball court during a Westminster vs Mullen basketball game in 1975.

I was in 9th grade in the stands watching the game.

Larry was a 12th grader for "Westy".

I went to Mullen.

The game was at Mullen.

The second half tip off went into the hands of McGuire for Mullen who reminded people at Mullen of the actor Ronnie Howard on the "Andy Griffith" show.

Our homer announcer yelled over the loud speaker "watch out Opie" as one of Larry's teammates for Westminster was sneaking up to steal the ball from McGuire.

Larry was close in proximity to our announcer: a coach and teacher at Mullen - and when Larry heard that over the loud speaker; "(watch out Opie)": Larry thought something was going wrong with his ears!

So sorry to learn of Larry's passing. I enjoyed visiting with him when he came to my shop to frame his fishing art!
