Mass of Christian burial will take place at 12 pm on Friday, June 6, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. Ennichement will follow at 2pm in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery - Columbarium where the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors.
Visitation will be held from 10am – 12pm on Friday, June 6th at St. Mary's Catholic Church prior to the Mass.
The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting the family with arrangements at this time.

Larry is survived by his sons, Lonny (Kirsten) Rathmann of Shakopee, Landon Rathmann and Michelle Rathmann of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Abby, Ryan, Mya Rathmann and Kirsten McDonald; his sister, Rosemary Vait of New Ulm; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Rathmann in 2024; and his sisters, Sharon Grochow, and Judy Rathmann.
Larry Joseph Rathmann was born June 5, 1947, in New Ulm to Benjamin and Angela (Huhn) Rathmann.
