To all the family...
I was one of those people who knew Larry from Wenonah School thru WHS. What a character! I remember in 5th grade Larry came in from lunch (he was one of those lucky kids who got to go home for lunch sometimes) and had learned how to spell "pigeon." He spelled it off and on all afternoon. It drove me crazy 'cause I was not a good speller and could never spell it! He'd spell it and laugh at me when I tried. What a great laugh we had!
I also "think" I remember that he kept pigeons about that time. I'd never heard of anyone having pigeons as pets.
I know all of you will miss Larry. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Larry and I grew up together all through grade school and high school.
We weren't the best of friends but even after 60 years of knowing each other we would see and stop and tell a few lies about hunting.
Ann, Larry pointed you out to me and said you were his wife and said that was the best deer he had ever bagged.

I Would like Larry's family to know what a big part he played on my life as a child and young man,he always took me hunting in highland county,the day after thanksgiving 1995 he put me on a stand where i got my 1st big buck, I was allowed to take part in the cars and trucks that Larry restored and remember him taking me to many cars shows, i also have many memories cutting wood with Larry, although i hadnt seen Larry in a number of years i am very sadden by the news of his passing and will hold near and dear to the memories of the many week long hunting trips that he took the time to let me be apart of....my condolances to his family
