Larry G. Risner

Larry G. Risner, (77), of Norwalk, passed away on August 24, 2024. He was born on May 30, 1947, to the late Jake and Ivellea (Hall) Risner.
Larry was a graduate of New London High School and proudly served in the United States Army. He was a dedicated, long-time employee at Freudenberg-NOK in Milan.
He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, vacationing with his family, watching movies, driving his latest Chevy sports car and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Gail (Eldridge) Risner, of Norwalk; children, Brandon (Mandy) Risner, of Huron, and Angela (Scott) Smith of Medina; grandchildren, Dallas, Shay, Lily, Wyatt, and Owen; a sister, Rosalie Kidd, of New London; mother of his children, Mary Longwell; and other special relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Susann Risner; and infant brother, Leon Risner.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at Ashland County Memorial Park at a later date.
