Larry Alan Ritch Sr. passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, in Yakima, Washington.

Larry was born on April 17, 1944, in Los Angeles, California. He lived a life marked by devotion, conviction, and fellowship. A man of deep faith, he cherished his relationship with God and found joy in serving his church community. Larry's greatest love was his family, to whom he dedicated his heart. A loyal husband and father. He was a friend to many, always ready with a warm encouraging word or a helping hand.

He had a keen interest in politics and enjoyed spirited discussions, reflecting his thoughtful engagement with the world around him. He found joy in many prize collections such as Roy Rogers, John Wayne, and President Ronald Regan. USC athletics brought him delight, offering moments of entertainment and camaraderie he shared with his two sons and friends over the years. His presence enriched the lives of those who knew him, and his legacy will endure in the faith, values, and love he shared.

Survivor is his oldest son, Larry Alan Ritch Jr., of Puyallup, WA. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine Marie Ritch, youngest son, Nicholas (Nick) Ritch, father, Charles (Ray) Ritch, Mother Harriett Alleen Ritch, brother Charles Ritch, Sisters Willa Mae Tenney and Carolyn Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 1:00pm, at West Valley Church in Yakima, WA.

A second service and burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Whittier, California, date to still be determined.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to West Valley Church Youth Scholarship.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the many friends, neighbors, and members of the church community who have offered support, prayers, and kindness during this time.
