Larry Carlton Roberts, age 74, of Banner, KY, husband of Sandra Lynn Conn Roberts, died Thursday, May 26, 2022 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born December 17, 1947 in Amba, KY a son of the late Harmel C. and Lurlie Mae Salisbury Roberts. Larry was former construction worker, a member of the Betsy Layne Church of Christ, a member of the Betsy Layne DAV Chaper 169, and two time Past State Commander-State Adjunct for the DAV.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Ashley (Brad) Reynolds and Amber (Jimmy) Campbell, all of Banner, two brothers; James
"JD" Roberts, Grethel, KY, Jerry Roberts, Harold, KY, four sisters; Thelma (Tommy) Spears, Betsy Layne, KY, Patricia Layne, Betsy Layne, KY, Scarlett (Jeff) Stumbo, Harold, KY, Tammy (Danny) Jarrell, Harold, KY, mother-in-law, Loretta Conn, Banner, three grandchildren; Carson Campbell, Molly Campbell, and Raye Lynn Campbell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Mark Sheridan Roberts, two brothers; Leo Roberts, Charley Roberts, one sister; Lydia Steele, and one father-in-law; Junior Conn.
Funeral service for Larry Carlton Roberts will be conducted Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Scott Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Junior Conn Cemetery, Banner, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Friday and all day Saturday at Hall Funeral Home.
