Larry was born on April 6, 1943 in Pulaski, Iowa, the son of Lester and Patricia (Biggs) Robinson. He spent 30 wonderful years with his wife Janice Dove, and together they shared their children; Lori, Kim, Heather, Brian, Ronnie, Kelley, Ginger, Gidget, Haley and two pets Peppe & Pooh.
Larry enjoyed riding his GoldWing Motorcycle, woodworking and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Left to honor Larry's memory is his wife Janice Dove; children, Lori (Mike) Ayers, Kim (Dean) Martin, Heather Robinson (friend Eric Voelker) and Brian (Ranina) Robinson, Ginger (Jason) Burgin, Gidget (Scott) Arnold, Haley Dove (Tony Vargas); brothers, LeRoy (Margie) Robinson, Roger (Pattie) Robinson; sister, Linda Shannon; grandchildren, Ashlyn Robinson, Clayton Robinson, Amber (Jake) Allensworth, Mayson Robinson, Ryles Robinson, Elyn Robinson, Jake (Megan) Barber, Josh Barber, Sammie Arnold and his many great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his children, Ronnie Robinson and Kelley Robinson; his parents; his step-father; Garland "Junior" Shelley; brother, David Robinson; and a grandchild, Zachary Barber.
Visitation for Larry will be held from 10AM-11AM, Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa, followed by a Celebration of life at 11AM. Committal will follow the Celebration of life at West Grove Cemetery. Memorials in honor of Larry, may be made to The Family of Larry Robinson, to be determined at a later date and may be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Robinson family, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
