Larry Royce

Larry W. Royce, 86, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 in Paramount Nursing and Rehab, Fayetteville, PA. Born March 19, 1937 in Hagerstown, MD he was the son of the late Wilbur and Marguerite (Stull) Royce.
He was a graduate of Hagerstown High School with the Class of 1955. Larry was employed as a forklift operator at Corning Glass, Greencastle, PA. He retired in 1999 after 38 years with the company. Larry was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chambersburg. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary (Kane) Royce; two sons, Jeffrey Royce and his wife Lori of Smithsburg, MD and Douglas Royce and his wife Judy Ann of Fayetteville, PA; a grandson, Ryan Royce and his wife Kayla of Seven Valleys, PA; and a great-grandson, Owen. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Constance "Connie" Martin.
Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday April 14, 2023 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 1702 with Pastor Ruth Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday morning in the funeral home.
