Larry D. Slusser, 77, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.
Born on September 1, 1945, in Logansport, Larry is the son of the late Jerome “Joe” and Anna Marie (Sailors) Slusser. Larry served his country in the Army Reserves and was a lifelong farmer who took pride in his work.
Larry was a dedicated patron of Bullshipper’s Café. He enjoyed the fellowship and camaraderie that took place during those meals. Larry was an avid sports fan, he played slow pitch softball at Riverside Park late into his 50’s. He followed Purdue sports and you could always find him in the bleachers at Logansport and Lewis Cass basketball games.
Surviving Larry is a son, Jeff (Carina) Slusser of Flora; two granddaughters, Kathryn L. Slusser and Kaity (Kaseem) Davidson; grandson, Drew (Joy) Slusser; three great grandsons, Blake Slusser, Kylan Davidson and Kamdyn Davidson; and close friend, Matt (Sue) Gremelspacher of Walton.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Candice Hinkle officiating. Burial will take place in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Friday, also in the funeral home.
