I worked with Larry at tice engineering. He was a fun person to be around. Made you feel right at home whether at the shop or on the road. Bubba was what we called him at work. Larry is a truly good man and his passing a loss to every one. Wish I would have known, I would have been at his funeral.

You had a talent for bringing special meaning to life,
It was such a pleasure to be your wife.
You helped me to grow and to realize
The fullness and the beauty in our lives.

Every day I counted my blessings.
Then God called, and you went away
Out of this world to a brighter day.
Suddenly my life of gladness
Turned to utter sadness.

My grief wears me down, I shed so many tears,
As I recall your love and devotion through the years.
For your sake and in memory of your name,
I pray for strength to do things the same.

To reach out, to fill the hours with useful ways,
To comfort, to cheer and have no more empty days.
I try to console myself -- it was God's greater plan,
So I must accept it, if I can.

You moved away to His splendid home above,
If there is life after death,
I know you will be waiting there for me,
With love.

Though Heaven and Earth divide us, and the distance is so great,
I count my blessings for the years you were my mate.
I will live my life remembering, while you wait, slumbering.
My beloved, may you rest in peace.
I miss you, sweetheart

Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memories so clear

Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be (?)
That you are mine
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above

Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen

As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me everyday
'Cause you mine
Forever love
Watching me from up above

And I believe
That angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave

Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

I know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

I will love you forever...and a day
Your wife...

My First Christmas In Christmas

I see the countless Christmas trees
around the world below,
with tiny lights like heavens stars
reflecting in the snow.

The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas
with Jesus this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here

I have no words to tell you,
the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description,
to hear the angels sing

I know how much you miss me
I see the pain inside your heart
but I am not so far away
We really aren't apart.

So be happy for me dear ones,
You know I hold you dear,
and be glad I'm spending Christmas
with Jesus this year.

I sent you a special gift,
from my heavenly home above
I sent you each a memory
and my undying love

After all love is a gift more
precious than pure gold
It was always most important
in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other,
as my father said to do
For I can't count the blessings or love
he has for each of you.

So have a Merry Christmas and
wipe away that tear
Remember I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year

To all of Larry's family. I just found out this morning of Larry's passing. I was privileged to have Larry as a friend and a co-worker for over twenty years. His personality and humor were unique. He was always going to give someone the "Atomic Belly Flop" if they didn't do their job right. I hope you know how much I regret not being able to attend his funeral. Had I known I would have surely been there. Lisa and I will keep all of you in our thougths and prayers. Larry was dear to us both.

I never had a relationship with my real father. When Larry came into my life I knew he was someone special. He gave my mother that special smile I only saw when I was very little girl. A smile that had been lost for so many years. I got so mad at her when, on their first date, she and my sister, Sierra went to the mountains with Larry. I had no idea that I was letting them go with someone who was fixing to save their lives. That is just what Larry did. He became a strong father figure for me and my sisters. I loved him so very much. I will miss him...his crazy dances...kissing himself on the wrist...and most of all, "I'm so glad you got to see me." Never in my life did I think I would want to hear those words just one more time. I thank God for the privilage of having Larry in our lives. I love you Larry, even when I have a "tude".

Larry was the most wonderful man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I didn't find out about his passing til late this morning. He was so in tune with and genuinely caring of the people he knew. He was fun to be around and could always make me laugh. While I'll miss his earthly presence, he is still with us. He has just changed from mortal to immortal. Take comfort in the type of man Larry was and the fact that he touched everyone he met in someway or another. His life was a true testiment to the man he was. If there's anything I can do to help you through this time, PLEASE let me know.

I was shocked this morning when my sister called and told me about Larry. Its been a while since I last saw him, but we never failed talking about the "good ole days".
Now he and Mike are together again.
I was looking at some pictures just the other day, and there he was with Mike when he served as Mikes best man.....It seems like an eternity ago now.
Please know that my toughts and prayers are with you all at this tragic time and remember that I know first time what its like to lose a brother. I'm asking God at this very moment to wrap you in his loving arms, and give you a certain amount to peace, that only he can give.
