Larry J. Stroble

I went to school with Larry at New Haven and had a little crush on him as an elementary school student. I knew he would be special throughout his life. I send prayers to all in his family.

Larry has always been a great cousin. He would sit around at family gatherings and have a book close by. But if you ever had a question or wanted something he always would listen and help. He will be missed by everyone who knows and loves him.

I remember Larry Stroble from New Haven High School. He was quite funny and laid back in many ways. My prayers to his family and friends.

I didn't know Larry as an attorney, but as one of the most intelligent, kind, funny and humble men I've ever known. He was one of the very best friends of my husband for over 50 years. He was a walking encyclopedia and I loved the opportunities to pick his brilliant brain on any topic. Even serious topics would take a humorous and hopeful twist when you talked to Larry! I am so grateful for his friendship. I'm also grateful that he has been a significant adult friend in the lives of our two daughters. He always took the time to talk with them and encourage them. He was interested in everyone and everything. I will always consider Larry to be one of the very best of men. So many wonderful memories. Praying for peace for all of his dear family and friends.

Without question, Larry was one of the best lawyers in this State. My fondest memories of him, however, do not focus on his considerable legal skill, but his character. Larry was always kind and fair. He had class and tremendous grace. He always represented his clients with utmost skill and dedication, while at the same time extending respect and professionalism to the other side. The legal community lost a great attorney, and the community as a whole lost a great man. May his soul enjoy all it is surely receiving. May his family receive comfort in the wonderful memories he left them.
