Larry Thomas

Mr. Lawrence Edward "Larry" Thomas, 66 of Villa Rica, passed away, Friday, February 27, 2026 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica.

Larry was born February 27, 1960 in Panama City, FL the son of the late Edward Thomas and the late Glyn Griffin Thomas. He was the owner and operator in Thomas Sanitation. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jennifer Major Thomas and a brother, Ricky Thomas.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Golden Taylor of Villa Rica, step children, Jennifer and Tony Evans and Stephenie Butler of Villa Rica, Siblings, David and Sherry Thomas of Rockmart, Freddy and Brenda Thomas of Elijay, Betty and Walter Marlin of Emerson and Glenda and Bill Payne of Smyrna, 6 step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Brother Barry Golden and Rev. Freddy Thomas. Interment will follow in Melrose Gardens of Memories with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Carson Land, Preston Land, Anthony Golden, Tony Evans, Terry Owens and Connor Golden.
