It is with a sad heart that We learned Larry had passed. It was not unexpected, and We are glad to have spent a little time visiting with him before he left. He has gone to a far better place, of that I have no doubt, and I pray I will see him again. Always will remember your friendly smile, and loving personality. Rest In Peace my friend.

I have never read a more beautiful obituary! What an awesome life he lead with such a caring and loving family. It is so nice to hear of all the awesome accomplishments Larry had.
I would like you all to know how much myself and family appreciate how Larry helped to care for Ed when he was sick and bedridden, so I could work. We will never forget his kindness , and will always be forever grateful. You were such nice neighbors to have

Judy and family, my deepest condolences to you all and those close to you. Larry was one in a million in so many ways. He was extremely intelligent, a wonderful husband, father and G'Pa. There aren't enough Larry Thompson's in this world.

Larry was the best boss I've ever had! He is the one who got me in Respiratory and taught me so much. Judy and I were friends before I met Larry and when they got married, they both became my best friends! That was over 50 years ago. Larry is going to be greatly missed and I will miss their visits on their way home from Florida! RIP my dear friend! ❤

Judy and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I was lucky to work with Larry for many years at the hospital. He was such a kind man.

My memories of Larry are fun and inspirational. He was a wonderful soul, that leaves a legacy that is seldom equaled. My heart goes out to Judy and his daughter and grandchildren.

Sorry for your loss. Larry and I both started our careers in Respiratory Therapy at the former Moline Public Hospital. In later years, we met again at Sunset Lakes Resort. We both had a love for camping. Follow that Rainbow friend. Mike

Rip my sweet and gentle friend, gone but never forgotten, you were one in million. Always had patients well being your first priority. I can tell everyone there was never a germ on any of the equipment that came from RT!! We all worked hard but still had fun. You will Truly be missed. God bless your precious family.
